What to Expect

Booking your special event at The Pioneers Cabin is the first step to a truly magical experience. As one of Edmonton’s most unique venues, it is captivating and elegant, without sacrificing space or functionality. The striking blend between historic charm and modern facilitation will win your heart in a beat.

The Cabin is perfect for wedding receptions and ceremonies–indoors & outdoors, social events, corporate functions and celebrations of life, for up to 250 guests. It is customizable to any sort of theme from formal to casual. Over the years, our clients had breathtaking setups and decorations at the Cabin for all kinds of events. The Pioneers Cabin’s main level features a huge stone fireplace, planed poplar floor, window frames made of spruce, and cedar shingles on the gable roof. The fireplace is so majestic and adds a beautiful touch to ceremonies and family photos as a backdrop. The lower level is another events area, and includes a Private Retreat Space, powder rooms, and other facilities. We recently finished considerable renovations on the outside and lower level and The Cabin has never looked more attractive and well-equipped!
